Clinical changes in the body during Ageing

Ageing is a natural phenomenon in life and it brings along some changes in the body. Human body changes at every stage of live. While changes in youth are primarily growth-oriented, changes happening in old age leans towards body deterioration. Changes are seen not only in the external appearance, but also Clinical Ageing Problemsfelt internally in the body. These changes reduce body functionality, limit movements and alter youthful appearance.
Here is a look at how aging changes your body:
• Skin shows wrinkles and hair begins to thin and turns white.
• Ability to think decreases as general body functions becomes slower. Memory is poor.
• Muscles are weak and there is a lack of energy.
• Digestion process is weak and slows down. People in their old age find difficulty in digesting food.
• There is a loss of minerals from bones and people in their old age are more susceptible to fractures from falls.
• Youthful appearance disappears and this is replaced by sagging skin and wrinkles.
• Hair starts to become less or sparse and turns white.
• The body’s immunity system reduces and as a result it is more susceptible to diseases.
• There is a deterioration of eye vision and old people are unable to see the way they used to when young.
• Instead of body cells growing, free radicals causes cell damage and this bring out the other symptoms of old age.
• Body is more susceptible to problems such as arthritis, diabetes, and blood pressure.
• Skin becomes thin and the skins oil and sweat glands do not function as they normally would. The skin is unable to hold moisture and as a result becomes dry and itchy.
• Signs of aging are also seen in the biochemical and cellular process. The end part of the chromosome polymer shortens and chromosome replication is not continued. In short aging manifests itself in sign such as reduced biological function, fertility and increase in mortality.
Changing brought on by old age cannot be stopped, as this is a natural phenomenon. However the effects can be reduced by taking in the right food supplements. This will control the disabilities generally brought on by old age and will make the body stronger and resistant to diseases.
